Storage Tips:

  • Long fermented sourdough is intended to be eaten within a few days.
  • To keep fresh longer, try slicing and freezing in a zip lock bag. Then simply toast and enjoy!
  • For a crunchy crust, store in paper or cut loaf in half and store face-down on the cutting board. This will keep the crust crusty and the inside crumb soft.
  • For a softer crust, store in plastic.

Take time to order and pick up… many varieties and well worth making adjustments to my low carb diet to savor with Irish butter or good olive oil.

Rustic sourdough review

Coming from Germany, I found this bread best compares to German bread. However, I do find it somewhat pricey. I’ve also noticed EVERYTHING is much pricier than Europe, though. I will order again, just not often.
